During the dry season between February and April each year, forest fires frequently occur within national park areas, causing severe damage to forest resources and wildlife. In order to address forest fire risks and fine particulate matter (PM2.5), Doi Suthep–Pui National Park hereby announces a prohibition on entry into the Doi Suthep–Pui National Park area from February 16, 2026 to May 31, 2026.
Fine info: Any person who violates this order shall be deemed to have committed an offense under Section 19(1) and shall be subject to penalties under Section 41, punishable by imprisonment for 4 to 20 years, or a fine of 400,000 to 2,000,000 baht, or both imprisonment and a fine.
